"We first got in touch with Clan Catahoula through their website while looking for a Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog – and from the very beginning, we felt that this is something truly special.
Faye and Bas took a lot of time to answer all our questions in great detail and with complete honesty.
What really stood out to us is their philosophy: they don’t simply “sell” puppies – they carefully match each puppy to the right family based on character, experience, and lifestyle.
That level of responsibility and dedication is something we deeply appreciate.
Throughout the entire process, communication has been personal, warm, and transparent.
We were always kept up to date, invited to visit, and given the opportunity to spend time with the puppies.
You can clearly see how much effort, knowledge, and heart they put into raising their dogs – from early socialization to activities like the puppy obstacle course.
In the end, we were lucky enough to welcome our puppy Cosmo into our family – and we couldn’t be happier. He is an amazing dog, and it’s obvious that he had the best possible start in life.

"Vanaf het eerste contactmoment voelde het goed.
Er volgt eerst een vragenformulier, daarna eventueel een intakegesprek.
Ze kijken goed of je geschikt bent voor de Catahoula.
De fokker nam uitgebreid de tijd om onze vragen te beantwoorden en stuurde regelmatig foto’s en video’s van het nestje.
De pups groeiden op in een schone, huiselijke omgeving.
We waren vanaf het allereerste moment betrokken van zwangerschap tot aan bevalling tot aan de dag dat je eindelijk je pup op mag halen.
Eén lang en spannend traject als je je verheugt op een puppy. Het matchen gebeurt pas als de karaktertjes zichtbaar zijn.
De pup krijgt zijn vaccinaties, je krijgt een goed en duidelijk contract en goede uitleg over voeding en training.
Ook daarna blijft de fokker bereikbaar voor vragen, wat we enorm waarderen.
In ons geval is er ook contact met andere eigenaren van de pups uit het nest wat ook erg leuk is om te volgen.
\We zouden deze fokker zonder twijfel aanbevelen aan iedereen die op zoek is naar een verantwoord gefokte hond.
Zo zouden er meer moeten zijn!
